What audiology and hearing care can you have in India?
Audiology is the study of hearing and balance. In India's accredited hospitals, audiologists, ENT surgeons and speech therapists work together to provide full hearing tests (audiograms), middle ear and hearing nerve tests, hearing aid selection and fitting, tinnitus care, vertigo testing and hearing rehabilitation. Many international patients combine testing and hearing aids in a short stay of two to five days. If tests show that ear surgery or a cochlear implant would help more, your team arranges the next step with our ENT surgeons. Najmcare reviews your hearing reports free within 24 hours and arranges your visa letter, transport and stay. See our Medical Visa Guide.
What are the levels of hearing loss?
Hearing is measured in decibels (dB). The higher the number needed before you hear a sound, the greater the loss. These are the World Health Organization’s grades for the better ear.

Why international patients choose India for hearing care
Patients come for complete testing, modern hearing aids and expert fitting at prices that make better hearing affordable.
Often 60-80% less
Compared with typical USA and UK prices, for both hearing tests and digital hearing aids.
Qualified audiologists
Audiologists registered with the Rehabilitation Council of India and ENT surgeons work as one team.
Tests and fitting in days
Testing, ear examination, hearing aid selection and fitting are usually completed in one short visit.
Travel support
Visa letter, airport pick-up, hospital coordination, a stay near the clinic and an interpreter if needed.
Hearing and balance services we arrange
Select a service to see who it suits, what happens, recovery and the time you may need in India.
Full adult hearing assessment
A hearing test shows how well you hear each pitch and how clearly you understand speech. It is painless and usually takes 1-2 hours.
Newborn and children's hearing tests
Early testing finds hearing loss when treatment helps speech most. Tests are designed to work even for babies who cannot respond.
Hearing aid selection and fitting
Modern digital hearing aids are small and can be tuned to your hearing loss. Proper fitting and checking matter as much as the device.
When ear surgery or an implant is better
Not every hearing loss needs a hearing aid. Some can be treated by surgery, and severe loss may call for an implant.
Tinnitus (ringing in the ears)
Tinnitus is a sound with no outside source. Most people cannot be cured completely, but good care can make it much easier to live with.
Dizziness, vertigo and balance disorders
Dizziness can come from the inner ear, the brain or the blood pressure. Testing separates these causes. See [Neurology](https://najmcare.com/treatments/neurology-neurosurgery/) when the cause is outside the ear.
Age-related and noise-induced hearing loss
The most common hearing problems. They develop slowly, so many people do not notice until conversation becomes tiring.
Hearing and communication rehabilitation
Good hearing is more than the device. Training helps your brain use the sound it receives.
