What is included in a full body health check-up in India for international patients?

A full body health check-up in India usually includes blood and urine tests (sugar, cholesterol, liver, kidney, thyroid, vitamins and blood count), a heart check with ECG and often an echocardiogram or stress test, a chest X-ray, an abdomen ultrasound and a physician consultation with a written report. Comprehensive packages add cancer-risk screening, bone density, eye, ENT and dental checks, and CT or MRI where advised. Most packages are completed in 1 to 2 days at JCI and NABH accredited hospitals. NajmCare recommends a package free within 24 hours and arranges your visa letter, transport and stay.

Patient questions

Questions patients ask about full body check-ups in India

What is included in a full body check-up in India?

Packages usually include blood and urine tests, ECG, chest X-ray, abdomen ultrasound and a physician consultation. Larger packages add echocardiogram, stress test, bone density, cancer-risk screening and eye, ENT and dental checks.

How much does a full body check-up cost in India?

Packages range from about $60 for a basic panel to $500 or more for a comprehensive one, and senior packages are about $300 to $600. You receive the exact test list and price before you travel.

How long does a full body check-up take?

Most take half a day to 2 days, depending on the package and the specialist reviews included.

Do I need to fast for a health check-up?

Yes, usually for 8 to 12 hours, with water allowed. We send a preparation sheet with your appointment.

How often should I have a full body check-up?

Once a year is common for adults over 40, and every 2 to 3 years for healthy younger adults, but your doctor sets the schedule based on your risk.

Is a whole-body scan the same as a full body check-up?

No. A check-up combines blood tests, heart checks, targeted imaging and a doctor’s review. A whole-body MRI or PET-CT is not a routine check, because scans can show harmless findings that lead to unnecessary tests.

Can I get my report on the same day?

Many blood and imaging results are ready the same day, and the doctor’s written report is usually ready within 1 to 2 days. Some tests, such as cultures or biopsies, take longer.

Do I need a medical visa for a health check-up?

We advise on the visa that suits your plan. A hospital invitation letter is available, and visa rules differ by nationality, so please confirm with the Indian mission in your country.

How fast can I get a package recommendation?

Within 24 hours of receiving your details. The recommendation is free and carries no obligation.

Emergency? Chest pain, severe breathlessness, fainting, sudden weakness, confusion or heavy bleeding needs emergency care near you now. Health check-ups are for planned, preventive care and do not replace urgent medical help.
